The boys are back
for number seven.

Initial marks are based on the final mark from the previous trip, established handicaps, and a good-faith estimate from the golfer’s last four reported rounds.

A par 72 produces 36 Stableford points. An 18-handicap golfer has an expected score of 18 points; using 80% produces a Day 1 mark of approximately 14.

Each golfer’s daily differential is points earned minus that day’s mark. With 20 golfers, the best differential earns 20 ranking points, the next earns 19, and so on.

Ties are broken using points earned on the #18 handicap hole, then #17, continuing until the tie is broken. Sunday’s ranking points are doubled. The three highest cumulative ranking totals finish first, second, and third.

After Day 1 and Day 2, the next round’s mark moves higher or lower by 50% of the day’s differential. Adjustments are truncated to a whole number.

A one-point differential produces no adjustment. Example: mark 8 and 10 points earned equals a +2 differential, making the next day’s mark 9.

• All scores through bogey must be putted into the hole—no gimmies.
• No Stableford points are available beyond bogey; pick up at your discretion unless a daily event requires finishing the hole.
• Using a mulligan removes the golfer from Stableford scoring on that hole.
• The McElhenny Rule is in effect: preferred lies throughout the course, without moving into a better playing condition such as sand to rough.
